Some beautiful shot cottons arrived for my next quilt , a zig zag design in Kaffe Fassett's book Quilt Road
I do love that book to bits , this is the 3rd quilt I will have made from it .
Plus some more Hope Valley .... lovely citrusy yellows .
That excellent tree print is from Modern Meadow by Joel Dewberry & it looks so good !
Citrus polka dots from Laura Gunn's Poppy Collection
I am thinking I'll combine these with some greys I've been collecting .
Some lime binding sewn on this little quilt & one more tick against the WIP list
Hope your week is skipping along

i've made two quilts, everyone says they're two big. so now i'm making a small quilt, what does one do with a small quilt?

ReplyDeleteJoy, thanks for your kind words !!
ReplyDeleteI would love to reply to your comments but I don't have an email address for you .
Small quilts are good for lots of things ... the sofa, folded at the end of the bed , babies various needs , folded in a stack to gaze at , the cat , a picnic ... shall I go on ??
My absolute favorite use is to keep me cosy when I have the rare opportunity to read on my bed in the chilly weather .
