A little bit of this ... and a little bit of that

I'm happily working on a few things at present .....not a lot to show yet.
Here are a few peeks !!

Firstly, I have made a little progress on my Value Quilt Along blocks .



I am thinking of doing another one ... next time pairing the colour values with white .

My blue & white quilt is coming along , I'm working on the borders .
Strips of 1" squares ..... yikes I hope they fit in !!!

bougainvillaea pinks

This simple little quilt has been a long time in the making , my original idea was to machine quilt in the ditch & add hand quilting in scattered blocks .
As a hand quilting novice I think I made the wrong choice in batting & it was palm achingly hard to finish all the blocks that I would have liked .
So , it needs to make it's way to it's new owner & can't wait any longer .
I hope she likes it ..... I love the combination of brilliant colours & some pastels thrown in .

Sunday Stash # 13

French Ribbons all the way from Paris this week ... linen , red grosgrain & cute as a button scissor tape .



This linen is destined to trim some white linen bags .
