Quilt for a brother-in-law

I have been slowly working my way through all of the family in a quest to supply all members with a quilt whether they like it or not .
They mostly like it !!
So now I am planning a quilt for my brother-in-law & think a simple design will be just the ticket.
Square in a square using lots of grey , stone & blue/greens & a layer cake of 1974 by Urban Chicks.



A big load of solids arrived this week for the frames.I'm thinking the clay coloured one is a cuckoo in the nest & will be ejected.



Am now thinking cuckoo looks quite fine against the neutrals



Now,if I could only finish those little time guzzlers , the scrappy log cabins, I could make a start.
