swap goodies done + a new quilt

Here are the potholders for my partner in the Spicing Up the Kitchen Swap

I'll add the tablerunner & an appley placemat  & hope for the best !!

I have started this Liberty cross block quilt for my youngest daughter , she has inherited an unhealthy

mini obsession  with  Liberty fabric from her mother .

So this quilt requires around 100 blocks which will be no trouble at all since I have been collecting

Liberty for many years .

Here are the first of many on the design board .

Your daughter has great - if expensive - taste! It is annoying as Liberty will only sell their fabric in half metres now where as up to six months ago, you used to be able to buy 30cm. I used to enjoy going in and buying a good selection as 30cm was enough for patchwork. It's expensive at £10 per half metre so I have to ration myself!
