Dotty is quilted & bound !!

Celebrations here , a very big quilt is all quilted & bound !! 

Thanks to Leone & Ruth who collaborated on the quilting , at 90 x 100" it was way too big to attempt.

It is a happy smiley quilt & I love the finished look

with it's scrappy green binding

Dollie quilts are so fun , I've been frittering away my spare time trying some new techniques

here's the latest 

raw edge applique & some fussy cutting in a restrained colour palette of yellowy mustard / grey / neutrals / black

I just have to settle on a design for my partner in the Down Under Doll Quilt Swap

I'm off to Melbourne this weekend to visit my sister & spend some time in that charming city !!

Looking forward to some cooler temperatures & this , which just happens to be on :)
