quiet Sunday = what can I sew now ??
I'd seen this pattern by Nova some time back & knew it was for me
a new thread / scrap catcher was needed
this is the 7" of the nesting bowls
this hand dyed blue cotton/ linen came home from London with me last year
& was asking to be paired with my some Liberty prints. ( the blue & white is my fav of all time )
Lined in a print from "quilt blocks" a line by Ellen Luckett Baker
Next up a lap-top sleeve for my sister
This pattern was devised by Florence of Flossie Teacakes
I changed it up a little so that the flap & pocket were on opposite sides
( owner's request , she liked a minimal look )
Need one for me next
lovely nobbly linen & cotton/linen print by Heather Ross
Both patterns were very well written & easy to follow
I loved the many pictures clearly showing all the construction stages
There are a many babies coming this year & this little quilt top will go to Mt Isa in the far north west of
Queensland
a wee boy called Seamus
off to baste & bind :)
