perfect weather to bind a quilt

This is the last of the four wedding quilts I've made in the last year

It is going to a special couple in Sydney

the photo was taken at my quilting teachers  back yard 

AKA the pacific ocean

We are lucky enough to spend a few hours each Thursday gazing out her back window. 

That is when we are not chatting , sewing or admiring each others work . 

It was quilted by Leone Ward in large roundy stipples.

The dull day is doing nothing for this little plus quilt 

Kona cactus background & a Lucy's Crabshack charm pack 

Backed in the bicycle print & bound in the plaid from the same collection

Straight line quilting by me.

I have the retro flower quilt back from the quilter too so my binding continues
